Job Description: Works independently to perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity, using operational precedents which are not fully applicable.
Such assignments, which are typically parts of broader assignments, are screened to eliminate unusual design problems.
Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents.
Provides support to include equipment management, inventory control, property control, warehousing, acquisition, quality control, receiving, shipping, assembly, packaging and transportation.
Operates and updates computerized logistic systems.
Plans, coordinates and conducts logistics projects.
Work requires professional knowledge of logistics principles, techniques and practices and logistics programs and issues.
Prepares written plans, reports, schedules and milestones.
Develops project plans, outlines procedures and issues, and identifies long and short term goals and objectives.
Participates in/leads audit teams to conduct inspections of facilities and operations to ensure compliance with logistics regulations.
Gathers data, analyzes and assists in interpreting data and reports.
Coordinates issues pertaining to compliance and corrective actions.
Develops and conducts various logistics training.
Participates in meetings regarding logistics concerns related to the assigned projects.
May serve as primary operator of the Unit Level Logistics System S4 (ULLS-S4).
Updates and maintains inventory records.
Interfaces with the PBO and Primary Hand Receipt Holders to produce sub-hand receipts and component listings.
Manages the ULLS-S4 database and supporting documents.
Provides technical expertise regarding hand receipt management and property accountability.
Manages the accountability of durable items.
Signs for and delivers supplies and material to end users.
Identifies excess and processes for turn-in.
Confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials.
Locates and moves materials to specified production areas.
Records quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand.

Work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task.

The ability to work around moving machinery and equipment and to drive auto equipment, forklifts, and other equipment is required.
Required to have good computer skills.
CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours.
Work outside of normal duty hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required with as little as one-hour advance notice.
OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance in order to gain access to required areas, networks and systems within thirty (30) days of date of your offer letter.
Must further be able to obtain and retain a secret security clearance.
