We are currently seeking an organized and energetic self-starter to join our growing company in Middle River, MD.
We are looking for an experienced team member who has excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
ADI is looking for full time Field Service Technician to coordinate and fulfill service calls associated with troubleshooting and technical repair of machines, orienting and training clients during the start-up of new machines, and assisting customers and other personnel in identifying and repairing equipment related problems.
This position requires local, regional and national travel.
This will initially be about 20% of the time but can grow to as much as 50%.
Starting pay will be $25 - $30 per hour, depending on relevant experience and training needed.
Compensation will also include travel bonuses.
No remote work available.
Candidates must be able to commute to our office daily and work in our production shop when not traveling for machine start-up, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills, ability to maintain safe and clean work environment, basic computer skills, and a clean driving record.
* Must have at least 4 years of experience with both on-the-road service and some manufacturing shop experience.
* Strong mechanical skills and experience with a variety of tools required.
* Excellent working knowledge of electrical and some welding experience is preferred.
* Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills.
* Must be able to perform routine equipment and mechanical repairs.
* Travel to customer locations both local and across the country as needed.
* Occasional weekend work as needed.
* Steel fabrication experience a plus.
* Hydraulics troubleshooting experience / knowledge a plus.
* Must have a driver's license.
* Must be willing to work overtime.
* Must be able to pass a drug screening test.
