Northrop Grumman Missions Systems, Microelectronics Center has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Global Supply Chain Program Management organization.
This leadership position will be located onsite in Linthicum, Maryland.
This Global Supply Chain Program Manager 2 will be responsible, accountable and have the authority for the operational efficiency, strategy, planning, and execution associated with the GSC statement of work for the Microelectronics Center.
This role is part of the GSC Program Management team and will be challenged to resolve issues and implement solutions, in a fast-paced environment – including process improvements, tools, metrics, data integration, and coordination and collaboration with key GSC and program stakeholders.

Key functions for this role include: Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed to address any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities Develops material strategy and leads the activities in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP); The Manager will serve as a focal point with Responsibility, Accountability, and Action (RAA) to the Operating Unit Leader within the GSCPM team Responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies to support the build process on the program, with focus on achieving affordability, operational efficiency, safety and first-time quality targets Responsible for the accurate integration and management of cost and schedule data in support of the Earned Value Management baseline Proposal management to ensure the timely and quality submittal of Prime proposals Management of material financials in support of Program financial goals Briefs the executive management on the status and issues affecting cost and schedule performance Self motivated and proactive, organized and detail oriented Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with a minimum of 9+ years or a Masters degree with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain, business management or other related field.
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in supply chain, business management or other related field in lieu of bachelor's degree (13+ years) 3+ years of prior experience leading a team/process/project Understanding of general procurement and subcontract execution workflows Understanding of general manufacturing and purchasing workflows Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering and/or technical discipline Demonstrated experience in supply chain management on a major program in defense and/or management in development or production projects Direct experience interfacing with executive leadership SAP experience Knowledge of Earned Value Management Demonstrated experience in interfacing seamlessly with cross functional teams, suppliers, customers and major subcontract parts Prior leadership in developing teams or working with teams We offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment.

Salary Range: $131,800 - $197,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
