POSITION SUMMARY The Electronic Engineering Technician will assemble machined parts with the required hardware, calibrate the test set-up to make measurement per test plans and create test reports.
They will work with a team of design and test engineers to build and test prototype systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
The ability to read wiring diagram to assembly wire harness, routing, and make necessary modifications ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Assemble and wire, using schematics and blueprints completing electromechanical assemblies forming all necessary cabling, wiring, and routing per drawings.
Soldering and crimping of mechanical assemblies.
Assist in the development of work instructions and procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and research manufacturing issues.
Assist with new products transitioning to production.
Keep work area clean and organized to present a professional workplace environment.
Assist with incoming quality inspections.
Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas by performing the required duties.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, travelers, and shipping orders to route materials.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Experience needed: 5+ years of experience working in the RF Electronics field.
Other Requirements: Ability to test assemblies using tools such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
Ability to troubleshoot and research manufacturing issues.
Knowledge of mechanical assembly concepts in performing assembly to schematics.
Advanced soldering with IPC training/certification Knowledge of use, repair, and maintenance of machines and tools.
Ability to read billing of materials.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
and be on their feet most of the day.
Ability to travel about 25% of the year.
Education: Associate’s degree in Engineering, technology or advanced electromechanical experience in RF environment or US Military electronics training.
