As a Project Engineer - Design in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide.
*As a Project Engineer - Design, a typical day might include the following: *
* Creating protection & control design packages for transmission & distribution utilities, generation facilities, and industrial clients
* Creating design packages including one-lines, three-lines, AC schematics, DC schematics, wiring diagrams, bill of material, SCADA points lists
* Performing site visits and scoping protection & control retrofit designs.
* Applying customer-specific protection & control templates for greenfield and brownfield designs
* Demonstrating ownership of each component of the design process, and delivery of the overall package
* Demonstrating understanding of zones of protection, instrument transformers, and protective relaying schemes

Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
* You have the ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.
* You are willing to travel as needed.
* You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

* You have experience in using substation design software tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, SDS – Substation Design Suite Physical, WinIGS, CDEGS, or similar.
* You have the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level.
Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
