Lumina Solar is looking for a Roofing Technician I to join our team in Maryland.
You’ll be a valued member of the Energy Services team.
Your peers will rely on your expertise and you will help move businesses and homes toward carbon neutrality.
The Roofing Technician will assist with all aspects of our roofing operations.
This individual will assist with all roofing survey, repair, and replacement efforts to the highest quality standards.
In this role, you'll get to:
Conduct comprehensive roof surveys to assess the condition, identify leaks or any issues, and determine the necessary repairs or replacements required
Conduct thorough investigations to identify source of roof leaks
Complete repairs, ensuring they are completed to the highest quality standards
Implement control standards and processes to ensure all roofing services meet company and industry standards
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and standards
Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing any concerns, and fostering long-term relationships
Gain knowledge and experience in Solar installation and maintenance
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
Minimum of 1 year of roof repair experience
Solar experience is a huge plus
Experience and comfort working in confined spaces and attics
In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols within the roofing industry
Must have valid Driver’s license and ability to drive for lengths of time
