Lumina Solar is looking for a Residential Electrical Lead to join our team in Maryland.
We're looking for people with a strong electrical background and leadership experience, who are passionate about applying these skills to provide reliable solutions and satisfy our customers.
You’ll be a valued member of the Residential team.
Your peers will rely on your expertise and you will help move businesses and homes toward carbon neutrality.
You will report to the Residential Electrical Manager.
In this role, you'll get to: Lead the installation of electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems Install electrical components such as; solar modules, inverters, main service panels and other electrical components for residential solar systems Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, quality requirements, the National Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes Act as an on-site supervisor for install teams and provide regular reports of team activities to the project manager Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors on projects Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos Correspond professionally with homeowners Keep company vehicles well maintained, stocked, and serviced properly Perform other related duties as assigned Follow all safety regulations and policies On your first day, we'll expect you to have: Valid Journeyman's license in MD (Preferred) 2+ years of Solar electrical experience Experience leading crews National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge Ability to read and interpret Electrical line drawings Ability to read building plans and equipment manuals Ability to safely handle power tools and hand tools as well as materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
Ability to work at great heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders, and stairs Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attic etc.
