Lumina Solar is looking for a *Removal and Reinstall Technician* to join our team in *Maryland*.
You’ll be a valued member of the Energy Services team and report to our Energy Services Manager.
We're looking for people with installation experience of Solar PV systems, who are passionate about applying these skills to provide reliable solutions and satisfy our customers.
*In this role, you'll get to:* * Work with team on Removal and Reinstalls of pre-existing Residential installations * Safely remove solar panel arrays preserving integrity of solar panels * Cautiously remove batteries, inverters, and other system components * Support in layout of solar panels, mounts, and electrical systems * Install racking, brackets, and other hardware for panel reinstall * Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up * Keep service van stocked and serviced properly * Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos * Provide customer support for troubleshooting system issues, and correspond professionally with customers * Work with Service team and learn other aspects of work within the Service team *On your first day, we'll expect you to have:* * Over 6 months of Solar installation experience * Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools * Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly, and transport materials and equipment at the warehouse and on the job site * Must have the ability to climb ladders, work on sloped roofs in all weather conditions, and stand for extended periods of time * Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be proficient in the use of smart phones/tablets.
* Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills * Exemplary customer service skills * OSHA Certification (Preferred) * High school diploma or equivalent * Must possess a valid driver’s license – CDL preferred * Ability to pass a background check and drug test * Must be eligible to work in the U.
