*Job Description:* As a Highway Maintenance Worker/Driver, you will play a crucial role in our efforts to keep the highways of Maryland, Virginia and Delaware clean and safe.
Your primary responsibility will be to operate company vehicles and perform litter removal duties along designated routes.
This position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
*Responsibilities:* * Drive company vehicles along designated routes to pick up litter from highways in Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.
* Conduct litter removal activities in accordance with company standards and procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor to ensure efficient workflow.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
*Qualifications:* * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
* Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
* Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
