*Copper River Infrastructure Services *is seeking a *Site Superintendent *oversee and manage the construction process of building and site projects for the US Army Corp of Engineers at Ft.
Meade.
The position is responsible for managing site activities and subcontractors to ensure established quality, design, budget and scheduling guidelines are achieved.
This will include actively planning , scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling all activities on construction sites.
*Responsibilities*_ *(include but are not limited to)*_*:*
* Provide construction management services on construction and construction related projects to included: customer and site coordination, subcontractor management, project sequencing and scheduling, budgeting, quality control and cost control
* Provide pre-construction services to ensure client’s needs are met as project development take place
* Support project teams with scope development
* Participate in design reviews and value engineering exercises to efficiently and effectively deliver projects
* Support project teams as needed to provide accurate and timely delivery during project execution phases
* Identify risk issues and avoid and mitigate as needed to ensure project remains on time and on budget
* Reviews constructability issues and provides alternative means and methods to resolve issues.
* Provide construction management expertise as needed to execute existing and new opportunities /projects
*Qualifications:*
* *Education*:
* H-S Diploma and Certifications and a Degree in construction related field is preferred but not mandatory
* *Experience:*
* 8-10 years of construction and estimating experience
* RMS Knowledge a plus
* QCM Certificate a plus
* OSHA 30 a plus and/or EM385
* *Required Skills:*
* Ability to read and interpret complex construction specifications and documents.
* 5-8 years of diverse experience in construction management and facility management and renovation.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with government personnel, clients, architects and subcontractors.
* Experience leading and developing trade and subcontractors.
* Experience in the installation of IT and Telecom infrastructure.
* Self-motivated and efficient time management skills.
* Ability to undertake tight deadlines and schedule.
* Knowledge of and keen enforcement of OSHA safety regulations.
* Possesses strong mathematical and computer skills.
* Proficient with MS Office products.
* Valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a passport if one is not currently held
* Ability to navigate construction sites efficiently and safely
* Keen attention to detail.
* Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $69,665.
33 - $83,898.
