Electro-Mechanical Assembler

is actively seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a client in Elkridge, MD.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and have extensive experience in electro-mechanical assembly, wiring and soldering techniques.
*Employment Type:* Full Time/Temporary *Work Schedule:* Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM *Compensation:* $21.
00 - $27.
00 per hour *Benefits (after 180 days):* * Potential for permanent employment * Health Insurance * 401(k) plan * Flexible bonus system *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform mechanical assembly of conveyors following engineering specifications and manufacturing standards.
* Perform manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies, including electro-mechanical devices of moderate to difficult complexity.
* Work under limited supervision, using drawings, visual aids, and verbal and written instructions to manufacture subassemblies, final assemblies, and/or electro-mechanical assemblies.
* Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve manufacturability and product quality.
* Assemble and troubleshoot a variety of electro-mechanical equipment.
* Use technical knowledge, hand tools, and power tools in troubleshooting and problem-solving with electro-mechanical production equipment to maintain assembly line efficiency.
* Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Materials teams to optimize production processes.
*Qualifications and Requirements:* * High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
* Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
* Familiarity with wiring and soldering.
* Experience in machine assembly and working on assembly lines.
* Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding electrical systems, technical drawings and schematics.
* Demonstrated ability in using hand and power tools, and in technical troubleshooting.
* Strong mechanical and technical skills, with a focus on quality.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication abilities and teamwork skills.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
