is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our client's team in Elkridge, MD.

*Employment Details:*
Employment Type: Full Time/Temporary
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
Compensation: $28 - $33 per hour
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform detailed inspections on a variety of products, including electro-mechanical assemblies and cable assemblies, to verify compliance with quality standards.
* Analyze blueprints and specifications to ensure manufacturing processes meet production standards.
* Suggest modifications to manufacturing processes to improve product quality.
* Utilize precision tools, such as micrometers, to inspect and test materials and equipment.
* Identify and isolate non-conforming products and develop strategies to improve quality.
* Make product acceptance decisions and work with the production team on inspection results.
* Perform spot inspections to maintain consistent product quality.
* Enforce safety standards to promote a safe manufacturing environment.
* Manage the nonconforming material system to facilitate rapid containment and resolution.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of control plans at all stages of production.
* Assist in the identification and correction of manufacturing quality issues.
* Perform audits on the Quality Management System and processes.
* Oversee equipment calibration and checking systems.
* Perform process capability studies and gauge repeatability analyses.
* Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to improve product and service quality.
* Act as the primary quality contact for day-to-day production activities.
* Adhere to ISO standards and safety guidelines.
* Maintain meticulous records and documentation as required by operations or quality control.
*Qualifications:*
* Demonstrated experience in a Quality Inspector role, with a preference for a background in electro-mechanical manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection methodologies.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
* Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
* Exceptional analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high independence.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
