Field Testing Technician

*Must Have Qualifications* * Willingness to work long hours outdoors.
* Have a valid United States driver’s license, and reliable, insured, transportation to and from the corporate office.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word.
* Excellent writing and communication skills.
* Physically capable of meeting physical demands of walking/climbing on construction sites, moving, handling testing equipment (incl.
lifting to 50 lbs).
* *ACI* Certification is preferred *Company Project Types/Sizes/Locations* * Perform testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete.
* Supervise drilling operations and log soil borings.
* Prepare daily field reports using Microsoft programs.
* Perform hand augers and concrete cores to obtain subsurface information and soil samples.
* Observe and document various field activities related to the construction process, including foundation installation techniques including ground improvement and deep foundations.
* Read maps and interpret engineering and construction plans.
