Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service Technical and Environmental Services Group has an opening based at the MES BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Field Office for a Lead Maintenance Supervisor.
This position will be responsible for the management of preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance of electrical/mechanical assets for multiple projects at BWI/MTN Airports as well as other MES operated facilities throughout the state.
This position requires the ability to utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), analyze data, and compile reports.
This position requires the management of supervisory and non-supervisory personnel, including the ability to communicate effectively and develop junior staff.
This is a designated emergency essential facility, and therefore the ability to work nights, weekends, and during adverse weather conditions will be required.
This position requires Homeland Security Clearance.
Estimated Pay Range:
$67,350.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or possession of a GED equivalency certificate, plus 10 years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical/mechanical equipment in an industrial setting, including 7 years of supervisory experience.
Applicants may substitute a bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering for four years of the required experience OR formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to three years of the required experience.
Applicants must be able to obtain a Homeland Security Clearance.
Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 5 points.
A Class B CDL or higher is preferred, but not required.
Applicants must be able to perform confined space entry, including the use of a respirator, and able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
