Electrical Estimator

- Strong relationships and proven track record of successfully estimating electrical projects.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task a variety of projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in order to meet project deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated with attention to detail.
- Perform quantity surveys in a format that allows application of production rates to determine labor costs, estimated material costs and equipment costs.
- Perform take-offs from drawings; pricing change orders and conducting site visits to understand the constructability of projects.
- Perform the implementation of plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed and to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ability to bid projects in public and private sector ranging from tenant fit outs to heavy industrial.
-Proven ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish high quality work - Experience with detailed construction analyses and historical costs, take off quantities, developing schedules and preparing comprehensive cost estimates - Ability to bid projects up to 3 million dollars.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of Computer based estimating software (preferably working with Conest software package - Strong mathematic and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.
00 - $80,000.
