Responsibilities:
Remove and install interior components on aircraft, ensuring efficient production and work flow
Perform tasks according to engineering drawings, manufacturer's specifications, and process standards
Read and interpret drawings and related data for removal and installation tasks
Complete tasks with the highest quality workmanship
Remove and install seats, bulkheads, galleys, lavatories, window panels, headliners, side walls, and more
Familiarity with aircraft systems and their relationship to interior installations
Proper documentation and storage of removed components
Application of protective coverings and interior finishes
Knowledge of basic aircraft layout, sheet metal provisions, and attach points
Composite and honeycomb repairs, including delamination repairs
Identify materials and hardware associated with job assignments
Proper use of tools and shop equipment
Adherence to safety standards and maintenance of a clean working environment
Qualifications:
High School education or equivalent
5+ years of VIP aircraft interiors experience OR relevant training/education and experience
Solid understanding of aircraft interior component removals and installations
Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and equipment
Effective computer skills, including Microsoft Office and discipline-specific software applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Willingness to work extended hours when needed
