Public Works Inspector II or III

*Purpose of the Job* *Perform water and wastewater public works inspections*.
Ensure quality control of construction materials, maintain construction records, perform reporting, and manage construction contracts.
As a team member, maintain project records.
This position’s experience and knowledge will be intermediate and may require direction from Project Managers, Engineers, and senior level Inspectors.
*Job Responsibilities* Tasks include, but are not limited to: · Monitoring compliance through specifications, standards, and codes for public construction projects.
· Inspecting the work of contractors · Maintaining construction records and perform reporting.
· Monitoring various elements of construction contracts.
· Ensuring quality control of materials and methods.
· Perform field investigation and system testing.
· Effectively communicate with contractors and staff.
*Additional Skills & Qualifications:* High School diploma or Vocational Technical degree or equivalent.
4 years of performing construction inspection work on water and sewer system facilities.

Equivalent additional related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
\*Water pipeline experience and with potable water systems and wastewater systems preferred.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.
