Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ops Team Leader to oversee the Aftermarket (AM) project delivery workflow.
The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for parts kitting, project assembly, paint, testing, packing/shipping, and installation.
The Ops Team Leader will collaborate with various departments, manage 3rd Party suppliers, and ensure the seamless execution of projects from production planning to international shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules and medium to long-range capacity plans for Aftermarket projects.
Collaborate with other department leaders to secure resources and integrate capacity plans effectively.
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with support teams such as engineering, supply chain, machine shop, quality, and field service.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
Lead a team of associates in executing Aftermarket projects, providing coaching and mentoring.
Plan and execute cross-functional training and lean implementation initiatives.
Address and lead root-cause problem identification for field issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels, proposing changes as needed.
Plan and schedule outgoing shipments, preparing required paperwork for international shipping.

Apply structured problem-solving approaches to address complex process, equipment, and manufacturing issues.
Champion the utilization of Lean tools and a Lean culture in manufacturing.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and MRP Systems.
Understanding of operational requirements from third-party industry standards such as OSHA, UL, & CE.
Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
2+ years of leadership experience
