I.
JOB SUMMARY Sr Planner/Scheduler position is a hands-on function and is responsible for developing and executing demand, production, and inventory plans that will enable the organization to meet sales and service level objective.
Exceptional customer service with internal and external customers is paramount to achieve sales and service objectives.
The incumbent will maintain close communications with manufacturing regarding manpower/equipment requirements and production priorities.
Monitors, communicates, and resolves SAP accuracy issues to ensure SAP system accuracy at all times.

• Responsible for the safety of employees and self.
Ensures departmental conformance to company safety policies and procedures • Responsible for the prioritizing and planning of a production process to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and achieve site and corporate objectives • Establishes production and inventory plans that balances production resources, supports customer requirements, and meets company inventory objectives • Develop short term, midterm, and long term production forecasts supporting 24/7 manufacturing environment • Calculation and monitoring of site’s manufacturing capacity • Monitors and maintains all production orders and/or firm planned requirements from creation through completion • Update and maintain Master Production Schedule and associated documents • The Sr Planner/Scheduler is accountable to schedule execution and works closely with Emergent’s Integrated Process Teams to ensure schedule adherence and recovery if required • Coordinate and schedule non-manufacturing activities that impact the production areas to maximize up time and reduce impact to supporting departments • Provide Senior Executive Management with up to date model plans based on potential changes in Manufacturing output and or capacity, Business or Regulatory Requirements based on proposed domestic and international sales forecasts • Utilize modeling for long range forecasting • Maintain collaborative relationships with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Facilities • Maintenance to assure the complete scope of planning activities remains connected with other tangential business operations and compliant with Quality requirements • Maintain Sales & Operating Planning within SAP including forecast monitoring and associated metrics • Develop effective department metrics, KPI’s and monitoring programs to evaluate performance trends.
• Ensure SAP tool is utilized effectively to perform detailed scheduling by maintaining the appropriate planning and eliminating manual processes.
• Communicate risks and/or changes that will impact the supply of material of finished goods • Develops standard and non-standard reports; identifies issues, exceptions and variances and develops solutions to moderately complex issues; reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements • Perform other responsibilities and special projects as required Culture Management • Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations Management team to build effective teams through common understanding of company goals, objectives, communication tools, and committee structures • Integrate Situational Leadership II Principles and Performance Management into day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to effectively maintain a culture of continuous improvement is essential Compliance • Ensure maximum compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, Sarbanes Oxley, Government Contractor Compliance and other areas of mandatory regulatory oversight • Initiate, route, and complete applicable Quality Notifications including Deviations, NCEs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS Education • Incumbent must possess at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or other related field Experience • 8+ years of related experience required • Prior Biopharmaceutical Planning & Scheduling experience preferred • Experience in working in a cGMP Manufacturing Environment • SAP experience • APICS certification preferred Skills • Excellent written and oral communication abilities, able to present complex theoretical concepts and empirical performance data effectively in both oral and written formats, for audiences ranging from senior executives through entry level employees • Exhibit strong leadership skills, both with subordinates and peers, with particular emphasis on relationship development and implementation of company culture Per CDC guidelines, Emergent strongly recommends that all employees working on site are vaccinated to help ensure their safety, as well as the safety of fellow employees.
This includes the use of good judgment when determining when the CDC guidelines advise that you stay home when ill.
