_*POSITION SUMMARY*_*: *As an Audio-Visual Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems.
You will work closely with our project teams, clients, and internal departments to deliver high-quality AV solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to provide exceptional service.
_*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*_*:* * Installation and Integration: Perform on-site installation, configuration, and integration of audio-visual systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, control systems, video conferencing equipment, and other AV components.
* System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance.
Identify and resolve technical issues and system malfunctions promptly and efficiently.
* Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document work performance, equipment configurations, and technical issues encountered during projects.
Prepare detailed reports and provide feedback to project teams and management.
* Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service during on-site visits, addressing client inquiries, and resolving technical concerns promptly.
Educate end-users on the operation and maintenance of AV systems, offering guidance and training as needed.
* Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and system upgrades to ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of installed AV systems.
Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends.
* Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
Communicate project progress, timelines, and potential challenges effectively.
* Quality Assurance: Adhere to established quality standards and best practices to deliver high-quality installations.
Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify compliance with specifications and industry standards.
* Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and comply with relevant regulations and standards during all installation and service activities.
Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
_*QUALIFICATIONS:*_ * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in audio-visual systems, electronics, or related fields are highly desirable.
* Proven experience (2 years) as an AV technician or in a similar role.
* Solid knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including displays, speakers, amplifiers, control systems, cabling, and signal distribution.
* Proficiency in using AV testing and calibration tools and troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
* Familiarity with AV system integration, including cable termination, rack assembly, and equipment mounting.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, etc.

* Attention to detail and the ability to follow installation plans, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications accurately.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
* Valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
* Willingness to perform a background check.
