PAY RANGE:
$60-$95k YEAR FOR PRE-CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Job Requirements:
Job Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• AAS or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
• 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Estimator or Mechanical purchasing agent
• 5 years’ experience in the field as a skilled Mechanical trade and demonstrated management experience.
Job Specific Requirements:
• Maintain the ethics and professionalism of The Bell Company in the execution of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Understand all applicable policies and procedures that influence these duties.
• Participate in available training to develop a full understanding of the management process and mechanical installations.
• Thoroughly understand the project documents and the project scope of work
• Timely execution of specific tasks as assigned by the Pre-con Manager, including Estimating, Purchasing, and Submittals.
• Responsible for the submittal and accuracy of all specified submittal documents for all materials and equipment per the pre-construction program.
Assure all submittals are approved in a timely manner to meet scheduled dates, avoiding delays to our field operations.
• Maintain all submittal documentation and logs on Share Point.
• Contact and scope equipment vendors/subcontractors, obtain bid day pricing and provide accurate and complete spreadsheet evaluations.
• Provide accurate take off for assigned estimating duties
• Support subcontractor and equipment vendor negotiations pertaining to contracts and purchase orders as assigned by the Pre-con Manager
