This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.
Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has immediate openings for a full-time heavy equipment operator (EO) at the Cox Creek Dredged Material Containment Facility and an adjacent parcel which is being developed and will be used for innovative reuse of dredge material.
The projects are located in northern Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City, Maryland.
Positions available include EO Trainee (EOT), EO, Senior EO (SEO), and Lead EO (LEO).
Primary responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include operating off-road dump trucks, dozers, excavators, other heavy equipment, and dewatering pumps.
Training will be provided as needed.
This position may occasionally require evening and weekend work and temporary assignments to other MES-operated facilities.
Estimated Pay Range: Trainee: $38,017.
55 to $52,273.
96 EO: $ $41,818.
89 to $57,501.
51 Senior EO: $46,001.
76 to $63,251.
72 Lead EO: $50,601.
10 to $69,577.

EOT requires no experience.
EO classification is required to have one (1) year applicable experience, SEO is required to have two (2) years applicable experience, and the LEO is required to have three (3) years applicable experience.
Position classification and salary offered will be based upon applicable experience and skills test.
