We are investing heavily in highly automated cutting-edge technology to build a paper cup manufacturing plant in the Baltimore area.
We are looking for a motivated and goal-driven individual with proven managerial experience to fill the position of Manufacturing Department Manager.

?Position Summary
The Manufacturing Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations, including, coordination, planning, and directing all activities that go into the production process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

· Provide daily clear and concise communication to all team members regarding productivity goals.
· Ensure efficiency.
· Oversee the quality assurance of produced materials.
· Establish goals for production and coordinate a plan to meet those goals.
· Analyze production data and optimize for efficiency.
· Ensure workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements.
· Write production reports.
· Hire, train, and assess the performance of workers.
· Provide direct support to staff members as questions, concerns, or feedback arises.
· Ensure all Machine Operators have the essential supplies needed to successfully perform their job function.
· Manage day-to-day processes regarding machinery being properly set up and inspect to ensure increased quality, maximum productivity, accuracy, and service.
· Work closely and provide timely communication to Mechanic Technicians concerning mechanical issues and/or opportunities to improve operations.
· Serves as backup Machine Operator
· Maintains, operates, and monitors the Paper Cup machines in accordance with best GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
· Serves as liaison for ALL Employee HR related experiences.
Education/Experience
· Must have a High School Diploma or GED
· Legally permitted to work in the U.
S.
· Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic English.
· Manufacturing and business,
· Prior management or manufacturing experience is preferred.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills.
· Strong leadership skills and ability to multitask.
· Strong awareness of Emotional Intelligence
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other system software.
