You must have a current or active security clearance with a poly.
Possess twenty (20)+ years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
Required Skills/Experience:
• Experience with software-based network devices
• Cloud networking experience
• Strong understanding of cloud environments, to include development, test, and production.
• Experience deploying operational systems and applications in a cloud environment
• Experience with common commercial cloud platforms (e.
g.
, AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Experience with configuration management & automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience with Container orchestration and scaling with Docker, Kubernetes, and implementation of analysis/logging/monitoring using ELK and Splunk • Ability to provide cloud software development/engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
• Understanding of cross-domain dataflow management
• Experience configuring and developing in a CI/CD environment
Some of the day-to-day activities:
Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.
