Network Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:

That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the DoD needs.
As a senior network engineer on our team, you’ll help the DoD evolve remote access networks to support national security systems (NSS).
You’ll work with SMEs and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) engineers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements.
You’ll then plan the system design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components.
From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use.
This is your chance to grow your skills in securing data-in-transit (DIT) and data-at-rest (DAR) for CSfC solutions while continuing to grow your network engineering experience.

You Have: 7+ years of experience with architecting and designing complex DoD network systems Experience with VPN switches, and Aruba and Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls Experience with leading the design, testing, and deployment of DoD systems or solutions Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPSec VPNs Experience in analyzing network traffic with Wireshark or TCPDump Knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.
509 Certificates and Certificate authorities Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience in coordinating with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the U.

government Experience with working in classified spaces to implement network solutions Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices Experience with configuring and deploying Type-1 encryption devices Experience with leading and developing CSfC solutions and supporting the maturation of CSfC capability packages Knowledge of CSfC capability packages Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients CCNP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.
00 to $166,000.
