POSITION PURPOSE
The Global Director of Learning Acceleration & Talent Development will be responsible for leading organizational and leadership development and learning processes and programs throughout BAC worldwide.
The position will interact with all levels of the organization in all worldwide locations.
Leading this important function will require that you bring expertise and best practices that have a bias toward positive talent development and growth.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Implement BAC People Strategy initiatives linked to talent development plans and programs Lead the design, development, implementation and management of programs, policies, and strategies tailored to meet learning acceleration and talent development needs Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional development to enhance individual and organizational performance Develop partnerships with external training consultants and resources, as needed Assess and identify learning and development needs, and effective training or workshop interventions to maximize effectiveness Guide the development of competency models to be used throughout the organization for selection, assessment, training and development, and succession planning Partner with Regional HR Leadership to Analyze existing training programs and assess impact, value, and alignment with organizational needs Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops Coach, mentor, and develop HR team to support strategic talent development initiatives Leverage global HR team to deploy train-the-trainer workshops when launching new training programs, processes, and systems Drive the succession planning strategies and processes for BAC’s key positions Prepare budgetary recommendations that meet departmental goals and provide for effective management of resources Ensure consistent deployment of Talking Talent/Talking Development module including training, communication, and support of roundtable process Confer with global and regional teams and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and strategic priorities Partner cross-functionally to develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials Develop testing and evaluation procedures for all training programs Partner with Marketing and HR to develop external communication about training programs to support talent acquisition strategy Ensure that our Organizational and Leadership Development policies and procedures comply with all legal and ethical requirements of BAC and Amsted Industries REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 7+ years of progressive proven experience in learning and development roles, preferably in manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Training and Development, or a related field A proven track record of creating vison/strategy and translating into operational execution in leadership development and talent roles Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and learning methodologies Experience in designing and delivering a variety of training programs, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other learning technologies Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire learners at all levels of the organization Ability to influence others in the organization with no direct reporting relationship Demonstrated experience in global matrix organizations Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) and collaboration tool experience (Teams, Zoom, Mural, Miro, etc.
