Description: POSITION TITLE: Account Manager TEAM: Corporate & Retail Accounts REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President of Corporate & Retail Accounts POSITION INTERFACE: All Gable Teams, Clients and Customers FLSA Classification: Salaried, Exempt POSITION OVERVIEW Work in partnership with selected Gable accounts and cultivate a thorough understanding of their requirements.
Maximize revenue opportunities though establishing, developing, and maintaining long-term business relationships with the clients.
Take the lead on the delivery of custom and standard signage and other related products specifically tailored to the clients’ needs.
Coordinate the manufacturing and installation of various sign and display types.
Manage account profitability with appropriate quality standards while meeting customer deadlines and adhering to the company’s polices.
Demonstrate excellent customer service to ensure the total satisfaction of internal and external customers.
Facilitating the smooth running of each new account through regular liaison with other internal departments.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS · Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
· Create budgets, forecasts, and schedules to make sure that products and projects are completed in a timely manner.
· Liaison between Gable and clients.

· Manage the timeliness and cost effectiveness of all assigned accounts.
· Manage the design, permit, survey, approval, fabrication and installation of signs and displays.
· Review and interpret job information such as contracts, drawing and estimates for thorough account understanding, process accuracy and budget/cost limitations.
· Interface with internal departments and external resources to reduce the time from a sold contract to the entering of a work order in production.
· Secure and oversee the process of ordering, shipping and receiving of out-sourced materials or labor required to properly complete a successful job.
· Establish a work plan to ensure accurate management of production and installation.
· Oversee on-site progress of jobs including on-site visits, attending on-site job meetings, and frequent communications with on-site crews.
· Attend weekly production meeting to represent your assigned accounts and obtain status updates.
· Initiate account progress meetings to discuss progress, problems, issues, deadlines, and delays on accounts as needed.
· Communicate with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, other key outside parties, and internal departments as needed to successfully complete jobs.
· Ensure the creation of complete work order and change order documents for the timely completion of jobs.
· Ensure other documents such as purchase orders, construction drawing requests, permit and survey requests are complete in a timely manner as needed.
· Track actual manufacturing and installation time of jobs along with actual material and subcontractor costs.
Compare actual with estimated costs and conduct variance analysis with Director of Sales and Corporate & Retail Accounts upon completion.
· Consistently improve working knowledge of the industry and suggest better and creative ways of completing tasks.
· Travel may be required and willingness to work outside of regularly scheduled hours.

· Maintain open and effective lines of communications among all customer both internal and external.
· To strive for continuous improvements in self, team, and company by seeking and suggesting enhancements to procedures, processes, and practices used at Gable.
· Project a professional image of Gable to all customers, clients and working associates.
· Ensure that all Gable pre- and post-sales, financial and personal matters are handled with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
· Effectively utilize procedures and support personnel efficiently and cost effectively at all times.
· Monitor job manufacturing and installation times as consistent with estimated time.
· Ensure purchased materials and services for the job are within budgeted costs.
· Monitor the timeline of the job to meet deadlines and avoid penalties and rush manufacturing costs such as excessive overtime.
· Ensure billable change orders are recorded and billed to the client or application party in a timely manner.

· Practical knowledge of design, job estimating, manufacturing, materials, and installation processes.
· Proficient numerical ability.
· Knowledge of and skills in the application of Gable designed computer programs and systems.
· Ability to read and interpret sales agreements, design drawings, blueprints, and miscellaneous signage sketches.
· Ability to represent Gable in a professional manner at all times and under pressure situations.
· Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to present information and respond to questions from all interfacing departments, clients, customers, and the general public.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT REQUIREMENTS · Represent Gable with the utmost level of professionalism and integrity at all times.
· Maintain confidentiality and discretion when speaking about Gable’s intellectual properties.
· Willingness to be part of a team and work within a collaborative environment.

TRAVEL This position requires approximately 5% travel via all modes of transportation.
Overnight travel with a duration of one week may be required.
