We’re looking for a Coax Splicer to join our team at Communications Construction Group, LLC (CCG) and help connect America.
What you’ll do…
Repair or splice in new line as needed to complete the testing and certification of the project.
Place and install required coax cable when necessary to complete assignment(s).
Install all passive and active devices, pedestals, and vaults and coax splice cases required to house CATV equipment per customer requirements.
Test Coax-RF lines for acceptable signal between points-continuity and fault.
Utilize RF Meters and TDR accurately
Maintain project information such as production sheets, time sheets, and customer required paperwork.
Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
Qualifications:
Who we are looking for…
Qualified candidates will have a strong work history, willingness to learn, and a displayed aptitude and commitment to the cable/lineman field
Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
Ability to read and interpret construction prints, plans, and specifications
Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
You are at least 18 years old & authorized to work in the United States
You can pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical and criminal background check
You have a valid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company.
