As a Lead Fire Alarm Automation Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our building automation systems.
You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our clients, contributing to the seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell's commitment to excellence.
You will report directly to our Sr.
Field Service Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Baltimore, MD location.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission Honeywell fire alarm systems according to specifications and industry standards
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations
Diagnose and repair issues with fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting electronic components and replacing faulty parts
Perform regular testing and inspections of fire alarm systems to verify their proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
Provide technical support to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on system usage
Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner
Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and customer support teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to clients
Acquire security and other clearances as required by customer

YOU MUST HAVE:
2+ years’ experience working within a construction or field service environment
Former knowledge of completing preventative maintenance on automated systems
Ability to troubleshoot, conduct repairs, and work independently
Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays as needed
Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
WE VALUE:
Technical degree or certification in relevant field (Automation, Electronics, HVAC, Electricity, etc)
Experience in the fire and security industry
Ability to provide customer satisfaction
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic EBI Knowledge
