*Position Summary* We are looking for a MR/CT service engineer for our growing medical imaging service installation/deinstallation business, primarily in MRI, but also in the modalities of CT, and or Cath Lab.
The FSE will be responsible for installing/deinstalling, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on MRI and other imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Field service coverage will primarily be within the Mid Atlantic and North east US, but also includes service work across the United States.
When not in the field, the service engineer will perform warehouse and other duties at our Baltimore location.
*Job Requirements* *Primary Responsibilities* * Assist in installation and deinstallation of MRI systems and other imaging modalities (CT, Cath lab) with minimal supervision (after training) * Assist in service repair, preventative maintenance, installations/de-installations in a timely manner * Performs warehouse duties as needed including: * Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and stock) * Operate material handling equipment (e.
g.
forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
) to move product within the warehouse * Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, and ship) * Operate under the required knowledge of State and Federal regulatory requirements (e.
g.
Radiation performance standards, registration, Quality Systems Regulation, EPA regulations, and OSHA regulations) * Defines problems: Collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions.
Has the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables * Identification and resolution of customer issues, providing the customer with appropriate communication and involving appropriate team members * Establish and maintain proper professional business relationships with customers, co-workers, vendors, as well as performing any needed administrative duties accurately *Required Qualifications* * Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision * At least five years experience in diagnostic imaging or 10 years experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a field service environment * Working knowledge of computers and networking * 3 to 5 years of field service experience is desired * Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
Occasionally lift or carry up to 100 pounds, with assistance available when lifting or carrying items over 50 pounds * Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time * Willingness to work overtime as business needs dictate * Strong electronics and computer skills required * Valid driver's license and good driving record required * Able to drive forklift & other mechanical equipment * Technical savvy- like to build and take things apart, good with tools * Self-starter with strong customer service skills as well as strong communication skills * Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees and customers both verbally in writing * Ability to see colors, good vision * Positive Attitude * High integrity * Strong team player * Must not have any body implants affected by high magnetic fields * All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.

*Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in Philips imaging systems preferred * Previous imaging experience a plus * Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus * Veteran previous military experience is a plus * English and Spanish bilingual is a plus * Able to drive a box truck Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
