Estimator

```Duties``` - Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Utilize software programs such as OST and RS Means to create detailed estimates.
- Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Evaluate project risks and provide recommendations for cost control measures.
- Build relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Assist in project management and construction management activities as needed.
```Requirements``` - Proven experience in construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, processes, and materials.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as OST and RS Means.
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
