SUMMARY: Supervise Lining personnel and activities on assigned shift to ensure timely production of quality products in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals on the shift
Supervise production activities and provide direction and support shift
Enforce Company policies, safety standards, quality, GMP’s and ISO procedures
Address employee concerns, resolve problems, train, coach and discipline employees
Responsible for accurate production reporting (Mattec/WebEFF) and timekeeping
Drive improvements in production efficiency and MEEF
Direct work assignments and ensure efficient labor utilization
Other duties as assigned
Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements.
And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Some college preferred
3+ years experience in leadership position with proven ability to deliver desired results
Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to motivate employees
Strong technical, business, and organizational skills
Able to plan and organize daily activities, analyze data and react to changes and challenges in the business
Knowledge of Lining operations and company procedures
Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
Good software skills (Word, Excel, LotusNotes, WebEFF, etc.
)
Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically w/ lift assist device)
Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects
Able to work safely in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms
Able to work overtime as needed
