Home Chef is hiring Picker/Packers at our facility in Curtis Bay, MD! Home Chef provides delicious meal solutions; delivering all of the fresh, pre-portioned ingredients, with easy to follow recipes, that help our customers enjoy meals everyone will love any night of the week.
No experience is needed for the Picker/Packer role.
Home Chef will provide you training in areas such as food safety, quality assurance and packing/shipping procedures.
Our facilities operate 24 hours a day, every day, with busy shipping periods on weekends.

* Portioning and packing Home Chef meals for our customers
* Using proper measuring utensils to portion ingredients
* Labeling packages and preparing items for shipping
* Receiving direction from Supervisor, Line Lead and/or Team Lead to fulfill production requirements
* Transitioning between tasks when needed
* Collecting production and quality data
* Working as a team to reach shipping goals
* Following all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) while onsite
* Keeping your work area clean at all times and assisting in end of day cleanup
*Job Requirements:*
* General high school degree, or equivalent (e.
g.
GED) preferred
* Ability to meet attendance guidelines (may include holidays, weekends, and overtime)
* Accuracy & attention to detail
* Flexibility and willingness to work on a team
* Self-motivation
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Work Environment and Physical Demands:*
* Our work is performed in a refrigerated environment (38 degrees or below inside at all times)
* Team members must be able to stand for extended periods of time (Shift 8 hours)
* Team members must be able to lift up to 50lbs (for example, you may have to periodically move cases of produce)
