Overview:
The Production Sanitation Associate is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the production areas and equipment in the food processing facility.
The Production Sanitation Associate is expected to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times, maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, organized and safe manner at all times, and follow all health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Refrigerated Coolers:
Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber
Clean and wipe down racks
Clean metal tables and sanitize on a daily basis
Re-stock vinyl gloves in all sizes
Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and three department sinks
Clean, empty and sanitize all garbage gondolas on a daily basis
Mix water and cleaning chemicals in containers, mop buckets to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Check for leaks, drips, and condensation
Clean all food manufacturing machinery (e.
g.
sprinter & PS-125)
Freezers:
Clean floors using a dry cleaning method
Remove any ice accumulation on the floors, walls, and cooling units.

Bus Tub Room:
Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber
Clean and wipe down racks
Clean, wash and sanitize all production utensils, bus tubs, red crates and blue dollies
Clean metal tables and sanitize on a daily basis
Re-stock chemicals
Clean and sanitize three department sinks
Test sanitizer with Hydrion test strips to test PPM sanitation solution
GMP Frock Room:
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing them with floor scrubber
Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles on a daily basis
Re-stock vinyl gloves in all sizes
Clean and sanitize hand wash sinks and three department sinks
Clean walls when completing deep clean
Attitude and Attendance:
Arrives to work at scheduled time and follows time off request procedure
Communicates with co-workers in a professional manner
Treats co-workers with respect at all times
Escalates attitude issues among janitors to FSQA Manager
Uses teamwork with working with production throughout the day
General Responsibilities:
Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred
