We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled Welder/Fitter to join our growing team.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing weld assemblies, planning and installing ridged pipe, match made hoses and Parker fittings to a variety of systems for our projects.
You should have ample experience in welding, joining, and installing a variety of piping systems, including CPVC as well as installing manual safety valves.

*Essential Responsibilities*:
* Weld components according to prints
* Read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints
* Take ownership of project progress, provide reports and adjust to manager’s requests
* Take inventory and manage project materials and equipment
* Configure pipe systems blueprint and plan piping systems layouts
* Ensure all systems are turned off before working on piping system
* Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel
* Clean & clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed
* Install piping or tubing segments securely with welding or other equipment
* Thread, weld, solder piping together
* Consult with job site supervisor for hole placements in walls and bulkheads
* Ensure pipe sizes, hangers, supports, and joint needs for accurate flow
* Cut and alter piping to ensure correct sizes
* Perform trial runs and tests on pipe systems
* Repair and reinforce broken, cracked, or inadequate systems or pipes
*Skill Requirements:*
* High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required
* 3-5 years’ experience as a welder preferred
* Able to manage multiple projects
* Accurate and precise attention to detail
