Excavator Equipment Operator - BALTIMORE METRO - Sewer & Excavation Division Sewer Team expanding! Come join our growing team! This position is responsible for heavy equipment operations with excavation projects, mainly residential sewer line replacements.
Candidate will have at least five (5) years' experience in the operation of backhoes.
Must be familiar with safety and trenching regulations.
Keep equipment operational by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns and keep supervisor informed at all times.
Class A CDL License helpful but not required.
MUST HAVE GOOD DRIVING RECORD AND CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE If you are a Sewer Plumber / Installer / Hybrid / Eqt Operator - WE REALLY WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!! Duties • Responsible for the safe operation of excavating equipment • Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade • Transport excavation equipment to designated job sites • Be aware of changes in soil conditions and materials that impact operations • Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe and responsible manner • Maintain MOSH/OSHA compliance on jobsite • Be observant of the condition of equipment and materials used to ensure that company standards are met and promptly report any problems or defects.
