In this role, you will be at the helm of a department that oversees a multitude of projects each month, collaborating with renowned manufacturers and working across an array of roofing systems – from Shingle to Singleply, Coatings, and beyond.
Your influence will reach far and wide, making you an integral part of our mission to deliver quality and innovation to the roofing industry.
*Typical Duties*
* Establish branch objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy.
* Plan, staff, and supervise all branch activities including personnel administration, performance review, defining functions, dispatching, other responsibilities, etc.
* Maintain positive financial posture for the division and monitor cost analysis activities on routine basis.
* Identify potential projects (customers), and gain admittance to bidder's list.
Maintain an effective business development program, securing new work on a routine basis.
* Light project management as needed for service projects.
* Staff scheduling.
* Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by the division.
* Attend networking groups related to commercial roofing to attain and maintain existing clients.
* Assist and help diagnose difficult leaks.
* Provide takeoffs and proposals for customer requests.
* Assume additional responsibilities as required by the division’s operating needs or as directed by Corporate.

*Education*
4-year technical/business administration degree or equivalent, plus extensive experience in the roofing and construction industry.

*Requirements*
* Minimum 18 years of age
* Minimum 5 years’ experience and advanced knowledge of all aspects of roofing and construction required
* Proven record of successfully running a service division required
* Successful background investigation
* Successful Pre-Employment Drug Test
* Excellent communication and organizational skills required
* A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
* Participate in local community, non-profit, or governmental activities/organizations for both company business development and personal improvement.
