*Metal Fabrication Welder*
*Job Duties*
* Ensure and enforce all safety policies and procedures are upheld to ensure the wellbeing of our employees.
This includes appropriate PPE, proper equipment usage, and maintenance.
* Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
* Drive continuous improvement efforts and projects by recommending or implementing measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
* Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
* Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.

* Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the fabrication production process.
* Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
* Assure the Production workforce maintains acceptable housekeeping practices for cleanliness and safety in accordance with company standards.
* Assist in the fabrication of all products, including welding.
*Required Qualifications *– Required qualifications to effectively perform the job.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
* A high school diploma
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Must have at least five years of directly related experience in a Fabrication Shop environment.
* Minimum 2 years in a metal fabrication environment.
* Knowledge of working with metal to produce finished fabricated products.
* Working Knowledge of typical fabrication shop equipment.
Brakes, Shears, Saws, Plasma tables, Rolls, and Welders
* Exhibit strong technical aptitude and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be physically capable of performing the work, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
