Precision Metal Fabricator

*About us* A leader in the manufacture of Precision Machined and Fabricated metal products is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals for our Precision Sheet Metal department.
Candidates would perform tasks including but not limited to punching, forming, resistance welding, secondary operations, and assembly.
Established in 1953 and located in Middle River, convenient to the MARC train station and adjacent to the Maryland National Guard facility, our 35,000 square foot facility provides machined and fabricated metal parts to many Fortune 500 companies in the aerospace and defense sector.
Requirements Include: - Read and interpret blueprints to determine product specifications and requirements - Set up and operate various metal fabrication equipment, such as turret punches, press brake machines and other metal fabrication equipment - Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to drawings and process plans - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process - Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes - Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely - Basic understanding of machining principles - Familiarity with basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship - Ability to read calipers and other measuring instruments accurately - Maintain a clean and organized work area Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
