Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control inspections on products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough analysis of product samples using various testing methods and equipment.
- Follow established QA/QC procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspections.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Fabricate and maintain inspection tools and equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments to measure product dimensions.
- Conduct quality control checks at various stages of the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Document inspection results, including any non-conformities or deviations, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct internal quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements, such as CGMP and FDA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques.
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
