mk1 vw, rabbit gti,golf - $4,500 (MD DC DE PA)

Hello CL I’ve been scouring the webs for a restorable somewhat drivable mk1 Vw rabbit.
Any year mk1 vw coupe will suffice 1972-1984 but preferably an 83-84vw rabbit gti.
I will pay for the right car.
It’s a dream of mine to work on one with my sons and drive it around with them.
I had one 9 years ago, painfully I was forced to sell when i lost my job and had to move.
Please drop a line if you have any leads! These used to cost 1000 for a running gti now the people my age have some money and the prices have multiplied 200%.
