*Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (include but are not limited to)*
* Must be a “working” foreman.
* Must have a valid MD Drivers License
* Must have 3-5 years of experience in underground dry utilities
* Supervise the lay out and installation of electric and communication ducts.
* Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and project specifications.
* Manage daily activities of crew.
* Maintain accurate timesheets and job documentation.
* Electrical knowledge is a plus.
* Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install, and complete projects.
Ability to operate backhoes, loaders, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
* Continually inspect work site for potential hazards or safety concerns.
* Responsible for safe work environments and comply with state, federal, and OSHA policies
* Take-Off of materials, aggregates, and project requirements.
* Coordinate with superintendent and management.
* Oversee work of subcontractors if needed.
* Communicates both orally and written, with local officials, company management/ staff, customers, and others.
*Essential Physical Requirements (include but are not limited to)*
* Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions
* Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50 to 100 pounds
* Must be able to operate heavy equipment and machinery
* Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
* Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl while performing work
