Job Overview:
We are a commercial office furniture installation company.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced person to managing oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
Duties:
- Supervise the install crew and projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
- ensure adherence to timelines
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Collaborate with the construction team to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
- Implement and enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols on the construction site
- Must be flexible and willing to travel within the DMV area.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction or installation management principles and practices
- Plangrid knowledge a plus
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
