Atwater's production kitchen, the "Big Kitchen," is looking for an experienced, independent, and motivated production cook to bring their energy and talents to our commissary.
Through the combined effort of several departments, the "BK" services our four restaurants around Baltimore and farmers markets in DC and Baltimore.
Our production facility makes pastry, bread, jam, and more.
Founded in 1999, Atwater's practices open-book finance, supports our community, and has fun.
The production line cook will be a part of the making components for our salads and sandwiches, helping with catering, having some ordering responsibilities, and more.
An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can come in 5 days a week, assess the needs of the savory and catering department, and work accordingly.
In addition to solid cooking techniques, experience in a production kitchen is not necessary but would be a bonus.
Must be neat, clean and organized.
HAACP certified, be aware of Good Manufacturing Processes.
