*Scope of Work :* The County has need of a technical resource to supplement existing telecommunications staff responsible for supporting the County’s Telephone network and associated systems noted as directed by the County’s telecommunications Division Chief.
Vendor will provide a Telecommunications Specialist to provide support PBX programming, repairs, moves, adds, changes and site surveys.
The Telecommunications Specialist is needed to provide technical support for the following systems: • Avaya CM6 • G650, G600, G350, G700 Media Gateways • Avaya Modular Messaging • Avaya ASA • Avaya AES • Avaya SBC • Low Voltage Cabling *Qualifications/Experience:* Three (3) years’ experience in a telecommunications field performing work related to moves adds and changes associated with a Private Branch Exchange (PBX), telephone • Working knowledge and understanding of telephony systems, including Avaya PBX programming, ACD vectors, VoIP, and unified communications platforms.
• Intermediate VoIP cloud experience • Experience in troubleshooting, evaluating, testing, and implementing software to support the Avaya CM6 platform to include associated media Gateways and adjuncts.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving telecommunications hardware issues.
• Knowledge of Avaya CM6, Session Manager, CMS, and Modular Messaging.
• Familiarity with EIA/TIA or BICSI installation standards.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft office and Microsoft Exchange • Experience with PRI, T1, and SIP signaling protocols Education: Completion of an accredited two year undergraduate, certificate or trade school program, which provided training in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
Telecom Specialist must have a vehicle to be able to respond to multiple County sites.
Telecom Specialist must have telephone test equipment to include but not limited to: • Butt set • Punch down tools • Wire mapping test set The County reserves the right terminate this Task Order at any time in accordance with contract terms.
The Department of Technology and Enterprise Business Solutions reserves the right to review and make final decisions as it pertains to staff and their replacement.
*Deliverables:* • PBX Programming • Repairs, moves, adds, changes and site surveys • After hour emergency response • Ticket management • Documentation updates Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $49,907.
