We are looking for a full-time Sign-maker in our growing sign shop.
Hands-on experience is a plus, however, if you're good with your hands and you have an eye for detail we will train you to be a Sign-maker.
Our Sign-makers prepare and apply vinyl to different materials and surfaces, mask and mount digital prints, measure and cut materials, and perform other sign-related tasks.
A qualified candidate can operate various hand and power tools to safely assemble and install signage in both shop and off-site settings.
Basic math skills and the ability to use measurement devices are required.
Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
We all clean, take out the trash, and perform other menial tasks when asked or when necessary.
Qualified candidates are drug-free and have personal transportation.
If selected for an interview, you will complete a skills assessment.
This position has great growth and career potential.
Compensation:
$35,000 - $40,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Assemble projects and meet deadlines as specified on the Work Order
Quality checking products prior to customer pickup/install
Package projects for customer pick-up or shipping
On occasion, answering phones
Review inventory of necessary materials and supplies and report to the Manager for restocking
Off-site installations
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, as well as take direction
Proactive decision-making when on-site performing work for clients
Familiarity with power tools
Communication skills
Curious/can-do mindset
Use measuring devices (rulers, measuring tapes, etc.
)
Manufacturing background is a plus
