We are looking for a hard-working, motivated, person with initiative to work as a production associate to do whatever needs doing to get the job done.
You will have the opportunity to assist with a varied set of production tasks, moving into different departments as needed, as well as the opportunity to learn new skills.
This position will support production personnel to help prepare parts for assembly.
This is a dynamic position that will not be doing the same thing everyday.
You will be tasked to do different things daily/weekly/monthly.
You will learn about a lot of different ways to make things.
You must be organized, conscientious and willing to follow detailed instructions.
You must also have the ability to work well independently as well as with a team.
A strong work ethic is important, as is the ability to complete tasks on time regardless of obstacles.
*Responsibilities:*
* Utilize regular hand tools to assemble components using hardware, riveting and various adhesives.
* Sand/Grind/Buff/Polish metal and fiberglass parts.
* Glue/Bond different material.
* Filing/Cleaning of fiberglass, plastic and composite parts.
* CNC oversight and material loading.
* Utilizes Work Orders to identify daily work scope to coincide with production schedule requirements.
* Advise supervisor of the status of work in progress when requested.
* Assist with the movement of materials.
* Assist Assembly Technicians with larger components and major assemblies.
Includes the packaging of “Kit” material as requested.
* Loading and packing of final product.
* Complete Work Order paperwork based upon activities completed and notify Quality personnel when appropriate for in-process inspection activities.
* Pick material from warehouse.
* Report material shortages from “picked” material to supervisor and report damaged materials from “picked” material or assembly processes.
* Assist with the daily clean-up of all shop areas including moving debris to dumpsters or as directed.
* Clean and maintain tools, machines and equipment.
* *Perform all other tasks/duties as assigned.

* Coordinate, enforce and/or train to all company and ISO procedural requirement.
* Work overtime as needed or assigned to complete tasks and/or projects.
* Follow all safety procedures.
* Adhere to all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
* Be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
* Be able to walk, bend, lift, squat.
* Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.
00 - $22.
