Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites
Previous experience in restoration laboring or similar role preferred but not mandatory
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Duties:
Site Preparation by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary equipment
Loading and unloading construction materials from equipment as directed by supervisor
Assisting Tradesmen such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.
in tasks by completing duties as assigned
Operate tools and equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and other equipment under supervision while following safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety guidelines and procedures
As a restoration laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of restoring buildings after damage has occurred.
You will be responsible for receiving, processing, and shipping stock and materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
The ideal candidate will have previous labor experience, be physically fit, possess strong attention to detail, be able to work as a team, and communicate issues as you experience them effectively.
