Peak Partners has a regional high growth insurance advisory client who is seeking a Marketing & Content Specialist.
This is a hybrid position located in Baltimore County, MD.
*Responsibilities (not complete):*
* Assist in creating and reviewing sales/service presentations, stewardship reports, program reviews, and other client deliverables, as needed.
* Review all email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
* Seek out creative and unique opportunities to enhance marketing and communications efforts.
* Write and edit effective digital and print marketing copy to help drive growth for the firm.
* Research and write engaging messages that are well-written, succinct, consistent in tone, as well as free of any grammar and spelling errors.
* Gather information to create effective copy from a variety of resources including internet research, interviews with subject-matter experts and more.
* Conduct content audits of all existing email marketing content and determine what needs to be created, updated, and modernized.
* Draft and distribute firm press releases and other public relations materials.
* Proofread each project for style issues, inconsistencies, grammatical errors, and any potential design errors to ensure delivery of error-free content.
*The ideal candidate will have:*
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or another related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years’ progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications.
* Possesses a strong understanding of AP Style of writing.
* Experience with email marketing best practices and understands how content affects click-through rates/conversions.
* Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
* Ability to take developmental criticism and drive to continually improve.
* Working knowledge of social media, front-end website management and other digital platforms.
* Experience working in the insurance desired.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot, or other email marketing and/or CRM systems.
* Experience with Drupal, WordPress, or other content management systems.
