Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team.
The Administrator will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, coordinating events, and overseeing our volunteer program.
Duties:
-Work to ensure the day-to-day administrative and development operations at SDS run smoothly.
-Maintain the database of donors, campaigns, and events within Charity Proud software management system (detailed training to be provided)
-Manage and coordinate events, including logistics, scheduling, and volunteer participation
-Manage and track spending of existing grants, in accordance with specific terms and conditions.
-Submit required grant reporting documents.
- Oversee the submission of new grants applications.
-Coordinate all fundraising efforts
-Attend local speaking engagements as needed
- Coordinate all volunteer activities and maintain the database
-Provide monthly accounting related records to SDS’s part time accountant, as needed, and respond to related questions.
-Respond to telephone calls and emails from the public
-Skill and Experience Requirements:
-Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.
)
- Experience with comprehensive donor management software, a plus
- Manage and coordinate events, including logistics, scheduling, and volunteer coordination
- Strong events management skills with the ability to plan and execute successful events
- Ability to effectively manage volunteers and coordinate their activities
- Proficiency in using software applications for administrative tasks
- Experience in fundraising is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,440.
